Liverpool remain unbeaten in the Premier League this season.
Sadio Mane scored his 100th goal for the club in a victory against Crystal Palace.
Jurgen Klopp’s side created numerous chances against a resilient Palace before finally opening the score in the 43rd minute of the game.
Tsimikas delivered a corner which was first met by Salah’s downward header Sadio Mane pounced on the opportunity to make it 1-0.
It took his total to 13 against Palace in the Premier League – the most anyone has scored against them
In addition to this was Sadio Mane’s 100th goal in the Liverpool shirt.
Palace had an attacking threat of their own from Wilfried Zaha – making his 250th Premier League appearance
But he was dealt with by the physicality of Fabinho and debutant Ibrahima Konate.
Mohamed Salah doubled their lead with just over 10 minutes remaining on the clock.
Again curling Tsimiskas corner met the head of Van Dijk, though he was not able to turn it towards goal,
The ball landed rebounded to the Egyptian and he made no mistake putting it into the back of the net.
Then, substitute Naby Keita scored what will be a contender for the goal of the month award, he produced a brilliant strike from the edge of the box.
Liverpool was wasteful in the first half as Diogo Jota fired over the bar from a few yards out.
Thiago and Jordan Henderson were also denied by keeper Vicente Guaita.
Palace had started brightly – hitting the post twice but the hosts’ persistence eventually paid off.
In the end, it was a comfortable victory that capped a good week for Liverpool at Anfield.
