Just days after the Apna Dal and Nishad Party formed an alliance with BJP in UP. In the meantime, Apna Dal chief Aparna Yadav, the daughter-in-law of Samajwadi Party (SP) patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav. Met him on Friday morning to take his blessings.
Taking to Twitter Aparna Yadav said. “After joining the Bharatiya Janata Party as its member, on coming to Lucknow, took blessings from Father/Netaji ”.

Aparna on her Twitter handle posted a photo that showed her touching the feet of Mulayam and taking blessings.
This episode comes a few days after she left the Samajwadi Party and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
In a slew of dramatic political events. In a Huge setback to the Samajwadi Party. Aparna joined the BJP in New Delhi ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections 2022.
She joined the BJP in the presence of Uttar Pradesh deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya and BJP state chief Swatantra Dev Singh.
Upon joining the Party Yadav thanked PM Modi and the party and said PM Modi’s ideologies always motivated her as she also believes in the ‘Nation first’ idea.
Aparna is not a new entrant into Politics and has vast experience since she had contested in the 2017 assembly election and was unfortunately defeated by Rita Bahuguna.
Alongside her entry into the party, she is expecting
Aparna is not new in politics as she was contesting in the 2017 assembly election. This time too, Aparna is considering to contest from Lucknow Cantt seat.
Aparna Yadav is the wife of Prateek Yadav, the younger son of Mulayam Singh Yadav, while SP president Akhilesh Yadav is his son from the first marriage.

Expressing Joy over the Episode BJP national president Jagat Prakash Nadda said. “we are allying with them for all 403 seats in the UP Assembly ”
Both the allies Apna Dal(s) and Nishad Party representing eastern UP’s OBC communities, were former allies of the BJP in the state; the Apna Dal (S) has been an ally since 2014, and the Nishad Party since 2019.
Talking to reporters over the alliance ” BJP in UP is with NDA (National Democratic Alliance) partners for the upcoming election. We were together for Lok Sabha too. Brief discussions are done. Following which are allying with them for all 403 seats (in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly) ”

The BJP is trying to retain power in Uttar Pradesh in the seven-phased assembly election starting February 10 to March 7.
