On Thursday, the Samajwadi Party- Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) alliance announces the first list with 29 seats. For the first phase of upcoming Assembly Polls.

Samajwadi Party and Rashtriya Lok Dal tie-up last year
The party announced the tie-up last year. And from RLD candidates will contest for 19 seats out of 29. While Samajwadi Party(SP) has fielded candidates for 10 seats. All these seats fall in the western region of Uttar Pradesh.
RLD candidates for the election
The RLD has fielded Sikri Brijesh Chahar from Fatehpur, Rautan Singh from Khairagarh, Pradeep Chaudhary (Guddu) from Sadabad. Tejpal Singh and Pritam Singh will contest from Chhata and Govardhan. While Mahesh Kumar Jatav will contest from Agra (Rural), Sudesh Sharma from Modinagar, and Madan Bhaiyya from Loni.
Furthermore, the RLD also fielded Gajraj Singh from Hapur, Bhagwati Prasad Suryavanshi from Khair, Prasann Chaudhary from Shamli, Avtar Singh Bhadana from Jewar, Ahmad Hameed from Baghpat, Haji Yunus from Bulandshahr, Dilnawaz Khan from Syana, Anil Kumar from Purqazi, Rajpal Singh Saini from Khatauli and Munshi Ram from Nahtaur.
Samajwadi Party(SP) candidates for the upcoming election
The Samajwadi Party(SP) has fielded Madhusudan Sharma from Bah, Kunwar Singh from Agra Cantt, Amarpal Sharma from Sahibabad, Salman Saeed from Kol, Zafar Alam from Aligarh, Aslam Chaudhary from Dhaulana, Shahid Manzoor from Kithaur, Nahid Hassan from Kairana, Pankaj Malik from Charthawal and Rafeeq Ansari from Meerut.
Only one woman nominee out of 29 candidates
However, out of the 29 candidates announced, Babita Devi of the RLD is the alone woman nominee. She will be putting up the fight from the Baldev assembly constituency.
While Purqazi, Hapur and Baldev have filed under reserved seats for Scheduled Caste(SC) for Agra Rural, Agra Cantt.
The seats will go on polls in the first phase on February 10. And the election results will be announced by March 10.
