BJP national president JP Nadda inaugurated the Outpatient Department in the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bilaspur. Union Health Minister, Mansukh Mandaviya, and Union Information and Broadcast minister Anurag Thakur were also present during the inauguration ceremony. Further, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur also participated in the ceremony.
The ceremony also honored the Covid vaccination warriors at AIIMS Bilaspur in Himachal Pradesh on Sunday. During the ceremony, JP Nadda informed that by June 2022, AIIMS Bilaspur will be ready. Further, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate it next year.

In addition, Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya mentioned that when the medical experts of the rest of the world refused to perform their duties, Narendra Modi encouraged our corona warriors for their selfless commitment. He added, that India manufactured 31-32 crore COVID vaccines in a month. Further, India has provided vaccine doses to more than 127 crore people so far.
He added that “there was never a shortage of brain and manpower in India. It used to be a strong and capable nation, but a period went on in which the country lost these powers”.
Union Minister Anurag Thakur also participated in the ceremony
On the other hand, Information and Broadcast Minister, Anurag Thakur was also present at the ceremony in Bilaspur. He said, “In the next six months, AIIMS Hospital here will be ready and dedicated to the people here. Earlier we had to go to PGI Chandigarh and Delhi AIIMS. Now after 6 months you do not have to go anywhere and you can come to Bilaspur and get your treatment done in AIIMS”.
Further, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said “In this era of Corona, we tried to do well in Himachal Pradesh. Himachal is a small state, but in spite of this we have decided to achieve the big goal and in this, we are moving forward successfully. He said that India has secured first place in vaccination campaigns all over the world, whereas Himachal Pradesh has come first in vaccination campaigns across the country”.
