AIIMS in New Delhi admitted Manmohan Singh at 6:15 the evening on Wednesday. He is 89 years old. Before this, he was taken to AIIMS when he tested positive for Covid19 this year itself.

In a statement, Congress said, “he is going under regular treatment.” Pramod Jha tweeted, “There are some unsubstantiated rumours with regards to former PM, Dr. Manmohan Singh Ji’s health. His condition is stable. He is undergoing routine treatment. We will share any updates as needed. We thank our friends in media for their concern.”
Lately, sources said that Dr Singh is admit to the Cardiology department of AIIMS. Moreover, the former PM has had heart issues. In addition, he has undergone coronary bypass surgery in 2009.
Since 1990, Singh experienced 5 bypasses and a stenting treatment in 2004. He got admit to AIIMS last year when he felt sudden chest pain.
Manmohan Singh was also tested positive for Covid19 on April 19. However, he successfully recovered from Covid. The hospital staff discharged him on April 29.

The former Prime Minister has also served as a union finance minister during the financial emergency year of 1991. Subsequently, he served as a Prime Minister for India for a tenure of 10 years from 2004 to 2014.
At present, Manmohan Singh is a Rajya Sabha member. At the age of 89, he delivers his duty for this country with utter patriotism and love for his country and people.

Pranav Jha, AICC secretary in charge of communications rejected “unsubstantiated rumours” regarding his health and also confirmed that he is absolutely fine. “Dr Singh is undergoing routine treatment.” as he mentioned.

Further, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chauhan shared with his followers, “The news of the ill health of former Prime Minister of India Shri Manmohan Singh was received. I pray to God for his full recovery soon.”
