#SanctionPakistan trends on Twitter following Pakistan’s support for the Taliban. Afghans from Sweden called on the United Nations to demand sanctions against Pakistan. The Afghan agitation was in effect of Pakistan’s direct hand with the Taliban for igniting war against Afghanistan.
The hashtag took over Twitter because the Afghans are charged up to demand sanctions against Pakistan. #SanctionPakistan was made to throw light particularly to the support the Taliban has been receiving from Pakistan. The hashtag has drawn attention from all over the globe.
At the same time where online support of the hashtag gained impulse, Afghans came out to the streets to display their need of the hour. Afghans in Sweden in fact called on United Nations to impose the sanction. All of which was to demonstrate their current need.

In the meantime Chris Alexander, a Canadian diplomat also advanced his support for Afghans. He also called in the United Nations to command the sanctions against Pakistan. “Pakistan’s invasion of Afghanistan constitutes an armed attack & act of aggression under Chapter VII of the UN Charter,” Chris Alexander tweeted.

#SanctionPakistan did not get confined to a few tweets but took over the internet in a short span of time. In essence, political analysts and observers claim that Pakistan plays a part in keeping the pot boiling in Afghanistan. Consequently, they also assert the revival of the Taliban to Pakistan is keeping the hashtag trending.
Ultimately, evidence also speaks about the support that Pakistan is extending to the Taliban. Accordingly, this support adds to the role Pakistan has for the Taliban in stirring up the war against Afghanistan.
#SanctionPakistan portrays the need for the voiceless to have a voice. The hashtag showcases the need for peace. On the whole, the hashtag has played an eminent role in raising a lot of voices.
