Raveena Tandon is all set to have a comeback in Netflix’s new thrilling series Aranyak. The Netflix original series Aranyak dropped its trailer on Monday.

The trailer opens up with the introduction of Raveena’s character Kasturi Dogra, a distressed cop who is on the verge of retirement. The small town of Sironah then witnesses the murder of a teenage girl. To fulfil her lifelong dream of solving a big case. Kasturi joins hands with her city replacement Angad Malik (Parambrata Chatterjee). The case then takes up mysterious notes as they dive right into the core of the case while discovering everyone in the town seems to have an alibi. As old skeletons come up, a long-forgotten myth revives.

The trailer seems promising as Raveena outshines as a cop. The show also stars Ashutosh Rana, Meghna Malik, Indraneil Sengupta and Zakir Hussain in key roles. Vinay Waikul is the director of the show. Roy Kapur Films and Ramesh Sippy Entertainment are its producers. Along with Rohan sippy as the showrunner.
The official synopsis of the show says “Political ploys, personal agendas and the myth of a murderous entity all surface as two mismatched hill station police officers navigate a web of suspects after a puzzling murder.”
Talking about her character in the film, Raveena said “She has incredible strength. It’s not that she is trying to level herself in a man’s world, but the way she proves herself better than anyone else, that’s what attracted me to the show and the character.”
The actress also opened about working on the digital platform “Being associated with the Netflix family is a joy. Even my kids are excited and tell me, ‘Mom you’re going to be on Netflix!’ It’s a cool thing for them. I have enjoyed the experience.”
The action-packed series is all set to stream from December 10 exclusively on Netflix.
