Gehraiyaan is an Indian romantic drama film directed by Shakun Batra. Produced by Dharma Production, Viacom18 Studios and Joushka Films. It stars Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday, Dhairya Karwa with Naseeruddin Shah and Rajat Kapoor in supporting roles.
Today, Amazon Prime video released the trailer of the film. It shows the character of the actors. Deepika plays Alisha, who is in a relationship with Dhairya’s character. Ananya plays her cousin. She is engaged to Siddhant’s character. It becomes complicated after Deepika and Siddhant falls for each other. It shows different emotions related to each and every character.
Karan Johar shared the trailer on his Instagram account. He wrote, ” All the shades of love, choices and consequences wrapped into an experience that awaits you! Trailer out Now! ”

Karan Johar said that this movie is the best, intense, real and honest observation of Modern relationships portrayed by Shagun Batra. Therefore, she had done phenomenal job of portraying the complexities of human emotions.
Deepika Padukone also said that this character is very close to my heart and certainly one of the most challenging character I have portrayed on screen. The story of the movie is very real and every character struggles is also real, raw and relatable.
