Regular Appearances in the WWE ring
John Cena, through Fightful, answered the most often requested question during a visit on Barstool Sports’ Pardon My Take podcast. Fans have speculated on how WWE’s face will react to their new challenger, AEW. And when asked if he watches it as well, Cena gave a straightforward answer. He retired from wrestling to pursue a career as an actor. But Cena still makes appearances in the WWE ring on a regular basis.
Motivated by a sense of internal rivalry
“I haven’t seen AEW,” the Suicide Squad actor admitted of his feelings on the firm. “I think competition is amazing, competition brings out the best in us,” Cena continued, referring to the AEW competition. Going out there as a performer, I’ve always tried to give it my all . And set the tone for wanting to be the best programme between Raw and SmackDown, with plenty of attention on the segments I was on. I was motivated by a sense of internal rivalry. There are many places to watch sports entertainment if you don’t know what it’s like to be in a market with a lot of various possibilities. That would only be beneficial to me.
For the majority of his career, John Cena has been the face of WWE and has rarely faced competition from other businesses. He retired before the inception of AEW because his run began after the termination of WCW.
Will he be on the big screen ?
Even though Cena is no longer in the ring, he can still be seen on the big screen. Fast & Furious 9 and Suicide Squad were his most recent films. Except for his recurrent role in Fast & Furious 10 and his ongoing HBO series Peacemaker, little is known about his future plans.
