Actors and filmmakers have returned to the sets to shoot their films and finish their schedules as the state-wide lockdowns have relaxed. While the new Delta version of the novel coronavirus remains a source of concern, many film shootings has recently resumed. Sidharth Malhotra, who was in Lucknow for the shoot of ‘Mission Majnu’ and also shot Indra Kumar’s ‘Thank God’ before the second lockdown, has returned to the sets.
On Monday, the actor returned to a set after a few months off and will continue filming on his upcoming picture ‘Thank God’ in the first week of July and a team is already putting together sets and a green screen model. More information will be released soon. Apart from the social humour, Sid returned to the sets for a quick visit yesterday. But no details have been revealed. After a two-month of time period, the actor returned. ‘Thank God’ will also feature Ajay Devgan and Rakul Preet Singh.
It’s been a long time, and I’ve been looking forward to returning to the fast pace of filming.’ ‘I’m ecstatic to shoot again and experience the cheerful and creative flow of energy that has been much missed,’ Malhotra remarked, humbled at the thought of shooting again.
The actor has ensured that his fans are entertained with very interesting and diverse stories and characters. Apart from Thank God, Sidharth Sidharth Malhotra has some interesting films lined up. He is currently working on the spy thriller Mission Majnu, helmed by Shantanu Bagchi. Rashmika Mandanna plays the female lead in the film, which was shot in Lucknow. The film spends a significant amount of time in Pakistan, with Sid playing a spy. SherShaah, a biopic of Captain Vikram Batra, is also set to be released.
