Payal Rohatgi is currently in Lockupp , Kangana Ranaut’s Reality show where she made a bad comment on a Muslim contestant Zeeshaan Khan. Payal called him terrorist in a fight. However, she apologized later in front of the camera. She did this after she got to know she is safe from eviction.
Payal Rohatgi came in front of the camera and said, Namaste mai hu Payal Rohatgi, Mai hath jod ke maafi mangti hu agar kisi ki bhawnaon ko maine hurt kiya. Ek community ki bhawnaon ko agar maine hurt kiya .(I am Payal Rohatgi and I want to apologise with folded hands.If I have hurt anyone’s feelings or any particular community’s feelings). Then I am really, really sorry. I request you to not create an issue out of this. I hope this can end with this show itself.”
She further adds ,To haath jod k, jin bhartiya musalmano ko laga ki maine unke bhawnao ko thes pahunchayi hai. Ek statement se to uske liye mai mafi chahti hu. (I fold my hands and apologize to Indian Muslims who may have been hurt by one statement of mine).”
We don’t know if the apology was genuine or not but we hope that such comments are not further heard. Lockupp is doing great breaking records with the proper balance of controversy and humor. Talking about the whole chaos, it started when the debate took place on halal meat. The Lockupp news flash kick-started the debate on halal meat arousing the fight.
Later, Zeeshaan intervened in the fight between Mandana and Payal Rohatgi. She claimed that Zeeshan spitted on her and told that it is so disgusting to promote halal meat. Zeeshan even told Payal to get her lawyer ready as she has taken it to another level. Payal was trolled badly on Twitter.
