Speaking of her 2 decades film career, 31-year-old actress Kristen Stewart says that she has made only 5 good films.
Kristen Stewart’s word with ‘The Sunday Times’:
In an interview with The Sunday Times, a Hollywood superstar said something shocking. She said, “I’ve probably made five good times, out of 45 or 50 films? One’s that I go, ‘Wow, that person made a top-to-bottom beautiful piece of work!'”
She told the publication that two of the best movies starring her are ‘Clouds of Sils Maria (2014)’ and ‘Personal Shopper (2016). Both are psychological thrillers by director Oliver Assayas.
Kristen Stewart’s film career:
Born in L.A, Stewart has been working as an actress from 2000. She got a role in ‘The Flinstones in Viva Rock Vegas’ at the age of 10. Then she appeared in critically-acclaimed films like Panic Room and Into the Wild. Until 2008 she was not a superstar. She became one after she got the role in ‘The Twilight Saga’.
This role bought her global fame but on the other hand she got a good amount of criticism. She received ‘Worst Actress Razzie’ in 2013 for ‘Breaking down: Part 2’.
Kristen’s word on her career:
Even though she had mixed success, she never regretted the experience she received.
She said, “I’ve only regretted saying yes to a couple of films and not because of the outcome, but because it wasn’t fun. The worst is when you’re in the middle of something and know that not only is it probably going to be a bad movie, but we’re all bracing until the end.” Now she’s getting better at her role selection.
About the movie ‘Spencer’:
Brunette Beauty is gaining Oscar for her leading role in Spencer. The film story is about Princess Diana’s wedding with Prince Charles and how it fell apart.
The Sunday Times described her role as ‘haunting, playful and blisteringly human’. The actress said she is really proud of her role in the movie. It will be coming to the theatres on November 5.
